Group I, in which the resuscitation was successful, was formed by299 patients (29.4%) with an average age of 53 years.

Group II, with the 711 patients who died in spite of the manoeuvers, was 70.6% with an average age of 61 years. Women had a better incidence of recovery (35%)than men (25.3%).
